The Robert Crown Center for Health Education, in partnership with the Kane County Department of Health, is offering Tobacco Truths, an online CPDU-credit course to help teachers encourage students to avoid tobacco. This new, research-based course, developed by Robert Crown Center health educators, is fully online and includes lesson plans for elementary, secondary, and high school teachers.

 

TOBACCO TRUTHS IS:

 

• Online, self-paced, and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week
• Research-based with the latest information from Centers for Disease Control, National Institute of Drug Abuse, Mayo Clinic, and other respected institutions
• Good for eight professional development (CPDU) credits
• Introductory rate of $40, discounted from $100
• FREE to Kane County educators through a grant from the Kane County Health Department
• FREE to DuPage County educators through a grant from the DuPage County Health Department
• DISCOUNTED to McHenry County Educators through a grant from the McHenry County Health Department
