The Community Forum on Heroin brings together researchers, local experts and the community to form a greater understanding of the heroin problem in the Chicago area and its effects on local families.  Kathie Kane-Willis, Director of the Illinois Consortium for Drug Policy at Roosevelt University, will present results from the groundbreaking research done for RCC’s Hruby Heroin Prevention Project on the factors that influence young people who try heroin.  Following the research presentation, Steve Ritter, M.S.W., will moderate a panel discussion and then open the event for questions and comments from the audience.
