“F.I.T. Campaign– Fighting Internal Temptation"
Childhood obesity has reached epidemic proportions across the country and in Illinois. Recently, First Lady Michelle Obama announced the new Let's Move Program, which will combat childhood obesity through nutrition and exercise initiatives nationally. We at Robert Crown have long been aware of the childhood obesity epidemic and are proud to join with the First Lady in offering the FIT Campaign to elementary school students from throughout the Chicago area.

Science Behind Drugs and Prevention
The new curriculum includes the latest information on the effects of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco on the brain and other body systems. The new Cebrin Goodman Classroom at the Hinsdale Campus includes touch-screen displays, age progression software, models of the brain and neurons, and three-dimensional exhibits to show how drugs affect the body.

Tobacco Truths - Online Professional Development
The new online course for teachers will increase your understanding of tobacco use and issues, and provide resources to help teachers share this knowledge with their students. The research is clear, the more kids hear the truth about tobacco and its effects, the more likely they are to avoid tobacco!
