Young people must be prepared for a lifetime of good health. The Robert Crown Center offers interactive educational programs for pre-school through high school-aged students that lay the foundation of knowledge needed to make good choices and live a healthy life.
The road to healthy living also presents challenges along the way — drugs, disease, and violence — and we address these issues head on by teaching skills needed to make good decisions. Our exceptionally wide-array of programs and engaging style speak to young people in concrete terms and in a style they can understand.
We work hard to remain on the forefront and constantly monitor new health research and stay on top of developing issues through our network of school contacts. We also encourage teachers, parents, health professionals and our children to tell us what issues are most relevant, so that we can address them directly. Please feel free to contact us with your suggestions.
Our programs meet the educational standards of the State of Illinois and contribute to the achievement of the Department of Health and Human Services Healthy People 2010 goals.
All programs are available for children both with special physical and developmental needs.
Special program requests are welcomed.
