After graduating from Indiana University in 2002, Brian fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a Financial Advisor. He was mentored by his grandfather and learned the importance of integrity, honesty, and discipline while working with local families and businesses. His passion for working with clients to help them with financial stewardship, generational wealth management, and business services continues to grow. Brian is married to his wife, Kirsty and they have three sons, Thatcher, Beckett & Jack and a daughter, Georgia. He spends his time enjoying the outdoors with the family, playing platform tennis, and golfing. Brian was a participant in Robert Crown Center programs as a child and is honored to help with the mission of leading, educating, and motivating kids towards healthy, happy, and safe lives.
Bryan Becker, MDDirector
Chief Medical Officer, DaVita Village Health
Bryan Becker is a skate dad, husband, massive soccer fan and someone who through the course of living in the Midwest and Southeast has benefited from great mentors in understanding the links between community, healthcare, and leadership. After receiving an A.B. in English at Dartmouth College, an M.D. from the University of Kansas and training in internal medicine and nephrology at Duke and Vanderbilt, Bryan led a large number of clinical activities at the University of Wisconsin and then served as CEO of the University of Illinois Hospital and Clinics and President of the UCM Care Network before stepping into the role of Chief Medical Officer for DaVita Village Health. Bryan and his family moved to Hinsdale in 2010. Their children have participated in Robert Crown Center programs and Bryan and his wife, Yolanda, have had a chance to participate regularly in Body Trek summer camps. Each interaction has enhanced an appreciation of Robert Crown Center’s programs and reach into the community.
Robert Brannigan, MDDirector
Professor of Urology, Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine
Robert E. Brannigan, MD is a Professor in the Department of Urology at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine with a clinical and research focus on male reproductive medicine and surgery. He obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees from Northwestern University. After completing residency training in Urology at Northwestern, he entered a fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Brannigan returned to join the Faculty at Northwestern in 1999 where he is a Professor and Director of the Andrology Fellowship. Dr. Brannigan is very active in medical education at Northwestern and serves as the Assistant Director of Student Affairs for the Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Brannigan has served in the leadership of many national organizations and societies. He is a Past President of the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology (SMRU) and also a Past President of the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction (SSMR). He is an Editorial Editor for the journal Fertility and Sterility, and he is an Assistant Editor for The Journal of Urology. He serves on the American Board of Urology Examination Committee, and he was recently elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors for the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Brannigan and his family have lived in Hinsdale since 2002. He and his wife Pauline are grateful for the education provided to their four children by the highly talented Robert Crown Center staff over the years.
John Bucheleres is Founding Principal of Triton Real Estate Partners LLC ("Triton"), a Chicago-based commercial real estate investment firm that specializes in the acquisition, syndication, and operation of value-add commercial real estate. John first founded the private-equity firm Triton Capital LLC, the predecessor of Triton Real Estate Partners LLC, and previously was a principal of JSQ Commercial LLC and JSQ Advisors LLC, overseeing asset management, property management and leasing for the fund’s assets. John has a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Kansas school of business.

With over 15 years in Wealth Management, Jeffrey A. Ellithorpe is a Sr. Vice President at The Northern Trust Company, Chicago. Jeff serves as a Sr. Wealth Strategist and works with attorneys, corporate executives and private business owners developing comprehensive wealth management strategies.
Prior to joining Northern Trust, Jeff was an Investment Advisor at Credit Suisse. He worked with numerous affluent families designing Investment and Estate Planning strategies. He specialized in working with individuals following the sale of a business.
Jeff received a B.S. degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois and a M.B.A. degree from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Business.
He also holds NASD Series 7 and 66 Licenses and is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council. Jeff is also a Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) and is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association.
Jeff is an active member of the University of Illinois Alumni Association. Jeff resides in Hinsdale, Illinois with his wife and three children. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys playing platform tennis and traveling.

Caryn serves as a lead advisor to high net worth individuals, families and organizations, including closely-held and family-owned businesses. She closely works with clients to gain a complete understanding of their lifestyle, career, philanthropic and wealth planning goals. Then she identifies and engages a Client Strategy Team to create a unique and constantly evolving financial plan and strategy to help meet these goals. Caryn joined HSBC Private Bank in 2018 and has 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Caryn earned her BS in Marketing from the University of Illinois. She went on to earn her MS in
Education- Mathematics from DePaul University. Caryn holds series 6, 7 and 63 securities licenses.
She is a board member of the Robert Crown Center in Hinsdale. Caryn lives in Chicago and enjoys tennis, boxing, traveling, visiting National Parks and studying Mandarin.
Mick Kane is a partner and National Service Line Leader for Deloitte’s US R&D and Government Incentives practice. He has been with Deloitte for over 21 years serving clients in multiple industries including consumer products, energy, life science and financial services. Mick received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, his Masters of Business Administration from Drake University, and is a CPA. He serves on several leadership committees for Deloitte Tax including partner admissions, national training, recruiting and has additional operational responsibilities. He and his wife Terri, live in Hinsdale with their son's Austin and Alex.

Ed McCarthy is a real estate partner in The McCarthy Group for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Koenig-Rubloff. Prior to starting the residential real estate group with his wife Nellie, Ed worked with Jones Lang LaSalle, the second largest commercial real estate services company in the world, and for NAI Hiffman on office brokerage and investment sales teams. Ed has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Loyola University and an MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Real Estate School. In addition to his work with the Robert Crown Center, Ed sits on the Hinsdale Hospital Foundation Board and on the Board of the Hinsdale Central High School Boosters Club and is a volunteer coach for high school and middle school girls’ lacrosse.

Dionne is a Managing Director and Head of the Loan Capital Markets team at Wintrust Financial Corp. where she oversees the syndication and institutional loan market strategies for the firm. Dionne is an experienced finance professional, with 20 years dedicated to the leveraged finance and debt capital markets sector. Dionne joined Wintrust from GE Capital, where she was responsible for leading a team of individuals focused on underwriting and structuring transactions for private-equity sponsored companies across a variety of healthcare industry segments. Prior to that, Dionne served in similar leveraged finance positions including senior underwriting, structuring and valuation positions at Bank of Montreal, Duff and Phelps and LaSalle Bank. Dionne earned her B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Social & Emotional Learning
Jeanne's community involvement and career have focused on education including the arts, youth development, and social and emotional learning (SEL) since settling with her husband, Mark, in the Burr Ridge area in 1990 to raise their children.
She has been a consultant to area schools and districts implementing SEL, worked for the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL), and participated on statewide committees of the Illinois Children's Mental Health Partnership. In 2009, she received a Those Who Excel Award from the IL State Board of Education for her leadership in District 181 to initiate SEL system-wide.
As a board member of the District 181 Foundation, she developed its programming for parents. Prior to her work in K-12 schools, Jeanne taught at the Art Institute of Chicago, area museums, and DePaul University's School for New Learning.
She attended the University of Michigan (BA) and the University of Chicago (MA).
Jeanne enjoys travelling with her family, biking, and gardening, as well as the arts and assisting English-language learners as a tutor. She is pleased to support the Robert Crown Center as it provides essential learning and life skills to students and families.

Brad Smith is a partner with Neal & Leroy, LLC law firm. Brad has been with Neal & Leroy for 15 years and focuses his practice primarily in real estate matters ranging from transactions and leasing to asset valuation litigation. Brad has developed a substantial eminent domain and condemnation practice representing both property owners as well as governmental entities, and is the only Illinois attorney that has been recognized each year from 2013 to 2017 as a SuperLawyers™ Rising Star in the area of eminent domain. In addition to his real estate practice, Brad serves as counsel to a number of businesses and not-for-profit corporations concerning risk and general contracting matters. Brad received his Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University and his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Brad and his wife Katie live in Hinsdale with their two sons, Ethan and Brennan. Brad enjoys golfing, paddle tennis, running and spending time outdoors with his family.
